GrantMcscott
A lot of the PIR loft insulation had to be removed at either side of the house to do some remedial repairs to the roof trusses. When it has went back in it has not went back very well and there is massive holes in bits. I can not really face repairing it as it took me ages to install it Will I be OK putting glass wool over where the holes are or will I need to put glass wool all over the loft? Also the electricians have been in and done 1st fix so is it ok putting 300 mm of glass wool over the top of the wires?
Iceverge
Is the insulation on the level or on the slope? Can you not just use some appropriate expanding foam to mend the holes? Wires should be ok. We put 450mm cellulose over ours. ( BTW i'm not an electrician so beware my advice)
