Trenching with compressed air

Came across this by accident. How to dig a trench on difficult ground using compressed air. I've no idea if you can hire one in the UK.

Grand, but no good for clay

The're building a new road nearby and they use a compressed air lance and a lorry mounted vacuum excavator. Not cheap to hire, but great where you have loads of buried utilities.
