Rendering over cavity closer

My thermally broken windows are going to sit with 15mm overlap on exterior block wall but the cavity closer extends 25mm past the window exterior. Has anybody had experience of rendering on to Cavity closer upvc?

Yes.  The closer should have a key on it.  You can paint with blue grit and fix some stainless eml to prevent cracking.

You can’t render onto cavity closers 

You will have to dab a board over onto the exposed block and fix a 25 x12 mil SS trim to the frame to catch the other edge of the reveal board

Looking at outside not inside

Then close the cavity with block and damp ours 

Cavity closers should be on the inside of the building
