Hi all

So joined as we're going to be moving from Dartford to Central Scotland and the longer term plan is to hopefully build a place rather than just buy a new place on an estate.

Aiming for the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk triangle to keep work options flexible (both currently working from home just trying to future proof).

Won't be the biggest budget so busy trying to figure out best value options.

Hi to you too. A tip from a Scot in England, you will have to stop saying 'to Scotland' as if it is this little place past Carlisle. A bit bigger than Dartford!.

I propose Kent to Central Scotland covers it.

We don't much use real names on here, just in case someone is chasing the same plot for example. you have 15 minutes to edit. after posting.

looking forward to hearing your anonymous progress.

I was at the Orchard Friday night for The Rocky Horror Show...didn't recognise Lowfield Street!

Welcome.

Back in the 1990s, a girlfriend dragged me off to see Jo Brand at Dartford.

The opening line of her show was.

"I looked up some information about Dartford, found it was twinned with Bernard Manning's arsehole".

From that I assumed she had never been to Erith, or Gravesend.

The thing we smell most often is the coffee roasters, occasionally the soap powder factory.

I don't blame you moving. Dartford wasn't too bad once but it's becoming an extension of inner city London imo.
