canalsiderenovation
We have the Internorm distributor coming back this week due to an issue with our sliding door handle coming loose. I noticed last week that one of the seals on the bottom of the window was pretty much ripped away and emailed to ask when they come if they can take a look at this too at the same time (no response yet). I've just been cleaning and noticed that on all but for one window the seals are ripped on all of our opening windows (at the bottom). The one it isn't damaged is our cloak bathroom which isn't opened much so probably has had less use but this just from use over the past few months. Obviously since the install in October/November and us moving back in we haven't had windows opened much until recently. It can't just be the size of the windows (some are big single pane openings) as it's happening on some of the smaller ones too. Has anyone else had the same problem with tilt and turn windows from Internorm? Something can't be right for it to happen to all 8 windows! tonyshouse
Never seen any problems with internorm, none with mine after 11 years, they have all spares, looks like it is graunching on something, friction stay?
canalsiderenovation
Just now, tonyshouse said: Never seen any problems with internorm, none with mine after 11 years, they have all spares, looks like it is graunching on something, friction stay? I wonder if it's the metal things here as this lines up with the damaged seals. It's as if they are a bit lower so are catching, in which case all the windows are catching. tonyshouse
Yes, I think that the weight of the glass may have weighed down the casement, the mechanisms are adjustable in lots of directions and I am sutr this will sort your problem. Mine adjust with Allen keys. I have made some very minor adjustments, my windows are ali clad wood

craig
Window needs adjusted, sitting a little to low and the gasket is catching the keep. Just needs lifted, pressure might be a bit too much and may need released a little. As for the handles, not 100% on Internorm sliders these days but if you look at the handle either top or bottom of the handle. You “may” see a little grub screw that needs tightened. One has arrived in now so the are coming to fit.
