Not sure of the brand but it wasn't a cheap one - i am a great believer in buying quality tools and equipment. I realised the physics of making something very flexible and able to extend and contract that much will never be robust and/or able to withstand 2-3 bar of water pressure. When the trigger is used you can see the hose expand and stretch ... very difficult to remain waterproof as soon became evident with the multiple punctures/leaks
March 25, 20215 yr In comparison, i then bought an Ebay hose and reel and 3 years later its still brilliant.
March 25, 20215 yr Author Thanks, thats useful. I agree about paying a bit more and (in theory) having better quality products but can still be a bit hit and miss. Was your ebay purchase a standard hose, as that's my other possible option?
March 25, 20215 yr @Rob99 yes it was a standard yellow hose, no brand name just something to to replace the elastic thing.
March 25, 20215 yr Mine was really good until it got caught on a rose thorn ..!! When under pressure the liner is very thin and very prone to puncture and you can’t repair them.
