Ralph Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Is there any reason as to why you can't lay porcelain slabs individually in an otherwise gravel path? While I realise they need to bedded in cement we are being told they must butt against each other or they will break. Thanks.
nod Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 No It’s the opposite to what you have been told 5 mil to 25 joint is fine 1

Mr Punter Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I have done this with stone slabs on a bed of sharp sand / cement a bit wider than the slabs, haunched around. If the porcelain is thick and non-slip I don't see a problem. 1
