Ed21
Trying to figure out the most cost-effective insulation config for a small loft room. Which one do you guys reckon A or B? . Edited March 15, 2021 by Ed21
ProDave
A for me. I see the vertical section in B detailed incredably poorly very often. With A you have the potential of warm eaves storage.
Ed21
That's what I thought Seems a lot better to just do the whole roof, then doesn't matter what happens underneath, but wondered if I was missing something. Plan A it is then. Thanks
ProDave
Is this a new build or loft conversion?
Ed21
An existing loft conversion, done a few decades ago. What Insulation there is not great and not sure what nasties i'll find when I start to remove. Not looking at doing much with it other than use for storage, so the insulation is more a tidy-up and a plus for the rest of the house than anything else. .
