Replace roof

One of my rentals developed a leak about 12 months ago.

I got a "guy" in to fix. He claimed the parapets needed doing.

So he did it and I paid the 2k ( just 2 parapets at the front ).

 

A few months ago it leaked again. He then wants 2k for the back parapets .

Now I know he's taking the p*ss.

 

Got some real roofers in ( recommended from a  reliable source ).

 

Though they haven't taken the front parapets off yet just look at the ridge.....

Also you can see he's circled the bodge.

 

Yet the previous guy never mentioned it - didn't see it I suppose! ( t o s s e r )

 

So tomorrow "real roofers" will remove the front parapets and we can see what work he did ( or didn't do ) then I'm going to go round his house and loose my rag.

Never ceases to amaze me how many ‘trades’ are complete shite .

I’ve confidence in the new guy though .
