joe90 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 During my planning, and reading other threads about plumbing I stated that I thought it safer to use solvent weld waste under fixed flooring, and was backed up by our pro plumber, however I can only find compression pipe fittings for shower waste fittings and am concerned about their long term reliability. Thoughts, comments please.
MikeSharp01 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Interesting point! I to have buried traps in our design and the traps are rubber olive and nut joints. I wasn't worried about the joints as we have exactly the same set up here in our ground floor wet room and it went in 12 years back and so far no problems. Edited January 31, 2017 by MikeSharp01 1
tonyshouse Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 No problem, think about how many are in use. Top access is essential with removable basket/bottle bit, ss screws
