Upstairs UFH not really working

Amazed that isn’t air locked with the loop over the top ..!! 
 

I would see what happens if you turn the flow down on that pump but leave upstairs on max. Are these floors wooden with spreader plates under the floor ..? Do you know how much insulation is between the floors ..?

That’s a pic of the downstairs manifold where no issues. 
 

I don’t know the answer on upstairs system, insulation etc. My next port of call will be the builder to find out. It isn’t screedes upstairs so presume spread plates?

 

downstairs pump on 1 and upstairs on max 3. I’ll give it some time.

Thanks. How would that probe work with a copper pipe? Tape it to it?

Small cable tie etc. I've slipped mine inside the pipe lagging before.
