Hi all,

 

Please can anyone tell me what these numbers relate to, above ground level, meters, cm, sea level? Thanks!

Thanks Mr Punter, so that means from the lowest point on that image +52.470 to the eaves measurement up at  +55.879 is 3.409 metres would this be about right? Thanks!

Yep.  It is sometimes a pain to do the calculation but your survey may also reference some existing points, like chamber covers in the road, which can help you when setting out to make sure your floor levels etc correspond to your plans.

Although it’s 55.897 so 3.427m up ?

really good to know, and now I realise that I see them by the side of a road sometimes!
