Pocster
Soon ( ish ) will start tiling the bathroom floor . Have a ditra decoupling mat ( but strangely no adhesive ) . On my order for the floor tiles it’s states “ porcelain tiles require a polymer modified adhesive “ I’ve been using this adhesive for walls - it doesn’t mention polymer modified anywhere in the blurb though the pack says “ porcel bond plus “ - so I assume that means it’s ok to use ?! Though this adhesive is expensive; it mixes well and bonds hard as rock . Edited November 7, 2020 by pocster
Gone West
@pocster All I can add is that we used this BAL flexible adhesive for all our porcelain ground floor tiles back in 2015. We didn't use a decoupling mat and tiled onto concrete with expansion joints at doorways. Edited November 7, 2020 by PeterStarck

Pocster
Uncle Nick aka @Nickfromwales - just keeping with the BAL range . Which one do I want for my floor tiles ? Mainly screed with some marine ply . Decoupling mat ontop . Expensive just to stick a tile down ! !
