Bought an old property that needs extensive renovation work that will end up as our family home. Joined this site to expand my knowledge and understand the current market feelings with our national lockdown still in place.

Very few people know exactly what will happen with the lockdown but 'most' trade is getting back on its feet. I'm very worried we're going too fast and we will have to go into proper hiding when cases spike again. But perhaps I'm wrong. Regardless, if anything I think Brexit will impact you more than Covid.

 

Have you considered rebuilding from scratch?

I think many people feel the same way as you We have decided to hold back on purchasing our second plot 

With quite a few partly finished developments coming on the market 

A second spike is likely once summer is over and the winter flu season starts
