Russell griffiths Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 When I had my foul drainage drawings done I was talking to the drainage guy and he mentioned a method he preferred and now for the life of me I cannot picture what he was talking about. What he mentioned was having the ic sort of off line so not in the main run, I just cannot picture this anybody any ideas. @PeterW
PeterW Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Wonder if he means grouping chambers and running a main sewer line ..? Would be odd - it mirrors how a sewer actually works - but is used for multiple properties normally. Basically you bring all the pipe work from a bathroom/area into one IC then run the outlet from that into a main run with a branch connection. The main run is then a straight run with just branches joining it and has an access at one end for jetting through. Would be odd for a single house tbh
Russell griffiths Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 That sort of sounds like what he said @PeterW. I might do a sketch, he runs a large company and normally does big developments so maybe thinking a bit big.
