willbish
Contractor has fitted single ply flat roof, all seems good They have left me a 56mm outside diameter Sarnafil T Drain outlet to connect on to. A quick email to Sika Sarnafil and they suggested using a jubilee clip, ? really?? Contractor says a standard pvc pipe will work, but 56mm seems an odd size, too big for 50mm and too small for 63mm. The connection will be inside a ceiling cavity so needs to be 100%. Any ideas?
wozza
Does a 50mm pipe fit inside the T drain so that a Jubilee clip can be used to clamp it tight?
willbish
Yes a 50mm would fit inside but that seems like it's asking for trouble. I need an elbow fitting that I can solvent weld preferably. Failing that a larger diameter pipe that could go up and over the outlet and then hope it never backs up.
