Whats the general thoughts on the where the waste pipes come through the DPM. Use a proper of the shelf DPM top hat or make your own top hat with DPM and tape?

I just made my own. What I've seen recently and think is a good idea is to insulate the pipe where it passes through the slab. See image in bottom right. Ignore the others.

[Gone West]

Our DPM is above the foundation insulation and was taped to all the penetrations through the DPM. The square block covered in DPM is the waste for the wetroom shower.
