Boris Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Hi All. Our tiler wants the architrave of the door to be put on BEFORE he starts tiling. Does this sound correct or is it just because he is more used to retrofitting tiles rather than new builds ?
nod Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 No He’s correct Most new builds are done this way Sometimes when it’s hardwood we strike a 70 mil line and work to that It really doesn’t make much difference Either way works
SiBee Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I will be tiling our kitchen very soon. I will be replacing the arcs and skirting first and then tiling up to these as a known good, level edge.
