Completely encased our tank in concrete just to be sure it stopped there, half filled with water then half outside with concrete, then filled rest and poured concrete, better not move, tank stands on a concrete base.

Certainly been an interesting 14 months, lots of new things learnt and by the end of each job getting quite good, worst bit insulation.

We are just about to cross finish line, bit of landscaping to do.and a few bits inside, try to get together all paperwork for building control, to get sign off and then claim vat

Aluminium guttering on western red cedar cladding, easy clip together system, not to painful on price

We have used local western red cedar bit of movement a few knots but makes it interesting, milled from trees ourselves, surplus stock if anyone interested

Having problems removing tape glue residue from window frames tried various solvents no joy yet, suggestions appreciated

Ammonia smell from borehole was cured by a neighbour putting milking parlour cleaner down hole and flushing it out leaving for a wee week and water ok again

We have four rationel doors fitted and windows for that matter, no problem with windows and are great, slight problem with door handles, 2 are wobbly and loose told by manufacturer that wobbly is normal, other two are rock solid as would expect from new doors, suggestions please

We got a Q on a barn and then went for demolish and rebuild, heading into final fix plastering nearly complete. No real problems except getting trades here and recticel door problems
