  1. Thank you, I hope with Sikaflex, layer of clear CT1 and then final BT1 bead it'll be super protected. Regarding the tiles, some are almost on the tray and some have gaps up to 3/4mm
  2. @Onoffdo you mean to put CT1 between shower tray and tiles to fill the gap before last bead of white? I put Sikaflex around to stick the tray to the walls and now wondering if to fill the gap with clear CT1 and wipe excess, then the profile and screen would be installed when then gets dry and after that white silicon bead??
  3. @NickfromwalesBrilliant, thank you for all your time and help
  4. Anyone can recommend a brand of low level trays with antislip coating that they didn't have issues with? I got Mira flight level tray twice now and both times it was bowed, waiting for a 3rd replacement but just in case it turns up bowed again I need to have an alternative, we are after 1600x800
  5. @Nickfromwalesyeah I get that drilling needs to be done first before all the silicone but when do you put the wall plugs and screws in to hold the wall channel? ( I'm assuming after you sort all the mess with baby wipes around the channel? Or screw it first then sort all the mess ?) And any silicone ( cT1) into screw holes?
  6. @Nickfromwales thank you very much, we used Sikaflex around shower tray ( that is super strong stuff ) and CT1 for legs to floor, baby wipes didn't worked as just smeared everything around and made it dirty but grime wipes did the job ( it may be because of the non slip surface on the tray )
  7. @Nickfromwales thanks for this, very helpful, can I just ask at what point you put wall plugs and screws in to screw the channel to the wall, are you using CT1 into drill holes?
  8. @NickfromwalesI did read these before I posted my questions but I didn't find any installation of trays on legs and just wanted to make sure on products to be used now as they were older posts so there may be a better products?
  9. Joists go the wrong way round and I've already got the tray I love anyways, ceiling can't be dropped as it's already quite low and nearly touching the kitchen units under the bathroom, so neither is an option and the tray needs to be raised.
  10. Looking into some advice how to properly install shower tray that needs to be raised on the legs due to the joist position. I read loads through in here and the idea is this: Ply wood over floorboards Level the tray up and then stick to the walls with Sikaflex Instructions say to silicone legs to the floor, so was thinking Sikaflex too? Then put the shower screen with a C channel bracket using clear CT1 ( do I sit the whole channel on it and wipe excess as the instructions saying to only silicone on the outside ) and clear CT1 all around the tray. Then final decorative white bead of BT1? Any different suggestions?
