Hi all, I have a few time consuming jobs around my refurb project which I could do with some help with, like humping and dumping a load of wood, garden waste, old logs etc. But I can't find anyone local who wouldn't mind helping out for a some cash. I don't really want a rubbish removal business as they cost a fortune - I've already got a van and most of it is free to dump locally - I just want someone who can help lift and shift. Any ideas on where I can find these people who want some extra cash on a saturday?

Out of interest, how did the potassium nitrate work out? Was there much smoke emitted when you lit it? I'm probably going to have a very similar problem myself in the future but the last thing I need is three days of smoke being pumped slowly out!

Might not be what you are looking for if you are thinking of charging more than just a phone or something, but I saw these the other day which I thought were pretty neat, probably a bit easier to rout into the board and then cover/paint over. Ha, thanks very much, been busy scribbling away this morning making plans, though it feels like I've barely scratched the surface (which is probably because it's true). I hope I don't owe his estate any royalties for using his catch phrase! Getting sued on day 1 surely can't be one of the unexpected hurdles that eats into the budget!

Hello All, Just starting a new adventure.....a new semi detached property in need of a good refurb, and also wanting for an extension and/or loft conversion. But I guess it all depends on what my wallet and time allows! Currently renting so balance excitement of getting into this new house once it's ready with my natural love of getting stuck into a good project! This is certainly the biggest I have tried though so any advice and thoughts will be greatly appreciated, and probably a few jokes when I realise quite how big this endeavour is!
