  1. Hello all, I have a cemfloor liquid screed (with UFH) which I ‘m going to install Ditra mat on and then tile on top. I’m going to abrade the screed but what’s not clear to me is whether it should then be primed. I’ve always used BAL adhesive and it states to prime with ADP but not when installing decoupling membranes. I’m using UltraTile SPES adhesive this time (never used their adhesive before) and they state to prime the screed with their UltraTile Primer but don’t specify whether this applies when installing decoupling membranes. Anyone has any experience here? Thanks
  2. How did it go? I seem to be having a similar issue except mine was caused by an incompetent plumber who was commissioning the ufh and turned it up to 65degs on a week old liquid screed! Thanks
  3. Thanks guys, The works look very neat indeed. Did you use Wunda UFH ? I guess you had to buy the stapler gun as well to clip the pipes? Thanks
  4. Hello guys, I’m having a kitchen extension built with concrete slab, insulation, UFH and then liquid screed. I’ll be buying the UFH from Wunda and will need a plumber to install it. He’s saying he’s done it many times in the past but Im a bit worried as he doesn’t seem to have UFH gear such as decoiler or stapler so Im a bit worried about his experience here or maybe I’m overthinking it and thedecoiler is not needed? How long does it take on avg to install the UFH pipes on an approx 50sqm area and then connect the manifold etc.? Day, days, a week? I’m also considering laying the pipes myself but never done it before so have zero experience here. Thanks
  5. According to the carpenter who is doing the roof the drip needs to be there when applying GRP. Is he wrong? How would the roofer go about finishing the edges of the roof without the grp drip? Thanks
  6. Hi guys, What I mean by ugly edge is the trim that goes over the fascia (the black edge). Are you saying that the flat roof can be installed without it without it when using GRP and meet Bregs? Thanks
  7. Hello, I'm having kitchen extension built with a flat roof that will have a long 1.5m overhang. The roof will have GRP applied meaning an ugly GRP edge trim on top of the fascia. I would like the front of the roof to be completely flat like here: Is this possible without breaking any building regulations ? Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Hello guys, I'm looking to get Wunda UFH for me new kitchen extension and existing downstairs living room. I've approached WundaTrade for FREE design and supplied the plans. They have been very helpful so far but with me having only very basic knowledge of UFH and what's required I'm getting a bit confused by the quote. I've asked for the quote for two zones: 1. kitchen/dinner - 45sqm area 2. living room - 39sqm area I've been advised that at 150mm pipe spacing I'll be looking at 6.67m of pipe per sqm which would mean 6.67 * (39 + 45) = 560m of 16mm pipe. Is that correct? Also, the items list also mentions: 1x Grundfos EuP Pump 22kW 1x WUNDA PUMP STATION - Grundfos 1x 7 Port Manifold My understanding was that I need manifold and a pump but what is the WUNDA PUMP STATION - Grundfos ? Wunda advised me it's "The Wunda pump station in the pump holder & mixing station" but I cannot find such item on their website. I'm also planning on using the UFH with another smart heating system (I have Tado atm but may switch to Loxone) - Do I need to but a specific Control Unit for example Heatmiser UH8 ? Thanks a lot
  9. Hello, Just wanted to say hello to fellow DIY'ers. I've come across this forum whilst looking for UFH brands and now looking to buy Wunda UFH for my kitchen extension. Hopefully you'll be able to help me with some questions Thanks
