Tennentslager 509 Posted April 24, 2018 What's all the little posts on the bottom of the trenches? No mesh or rebar needed? Very tidy job and well done the dumper driver? 1 Link to comment
Triassic 688 Posted April 24, 2018 The little pegs are all the same height, ie the thickness of the concrete. Gives the site team some5h8ng to work to when levelling the concrete. 1 Link to comment
Redoctober 413 Posted April 24, 2018 (edited) @Tennentslager good question - and answered superbly by @Triassic. In our case they were set at 200mm high so the concrete would just cover the pegs allowing the ground worker to float the surface off. I have to say the dumper truck driver did do well as on occasions there were some dodgy over hangs!! Sorry, forgot to add - yes 500mm mesh was placed in the trenches as the concrete was poured.
