Greetings all, I was an occasional 'passer by' on the old site and like many others have now found you again.  I used to be an NHBC registered Builder/ Developer so have, as the name suggests, built a few, but I took shelter from the recession by getting a 'proper job'.  Currently work as a Clerk of Works, mainly employed by Housing Association Clients to inspect sites being built by the big PLC House Builders, quite an eye opener what they try and get away with, although to be fair to them most of their staff are so under qualified they don't even realise they're doing it wrong.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure your input could be very valuable on questions about BCO inspections etc. Would love to hear some horror stories from the big developers too
