Mixing push fit and solvent weld soil fittings

Hoping @Nickfromwales will be able to answer this one in his sleep!

 

I want to join this (solvent weld) rodding eye to this (push fit socket) branch, via a 135 degree bend. What type of fitting should that joining piece be, i.e. solvent or socket or whatever?

The rodding eye looks like a push fit to me. That should just push into the branch. Does it state differently in the literature ?

Funny that- on the actual product page it doesn't say, but one page back it says it is solvent weld.

If I do end up with a solvent weld cap, is it just a case of adding a short length of plain ended pipe to make everything fit?
