Crofter Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Hoping @Nickfromwales will be able to answer this one in his sleep! I want to join this (solvent weld) rodding eye to this (push fit socket) branch, via a 135 degree bend. What type of fitting should that joining piece be, i.e. solvent or socket or whatever?
Nickfromwales Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 The rodding eye looks like a push fit to me. That should just push into the branch. Does it state differently in the literature ?
Crofter Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Funny that- on the actual product page it doesn't say, but one page back it says it is solvent weld.
Nickfromwales Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 The grey states solvent, the black doesn't.
Crofter Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Well spotted, you plumbers are a clever lot Think I'll phone them in the morning. If I do end up with a solvent weld cap, is it just a case of adding a short length of plain ended pipe to make everything fit?
