Fairland heat pump and experiance?

Anyone got any experiance of the Fairland Orilux 5.2kW Air Source Heat pump. Looks like a good deal on ebay at £550 so might invest if no adverse comments although it has no cooling option according to blurb.

They are Chinese, non-inverter controlled, pretty basic units.  They have been re-sold in the UK by a couple of companies, and are OK if you can manage with a unit that is "all or nothing", in that they don't modulate and are either full on or off, so they tend to have a fairly high starting current.  Spares may or may not be available, depends very much on whether the UK importer has arranged a spares supply.

The 8.2kw one is change of £800 - think we discussed them last year.

Thanks chaps - body swerve time me thinks. So as a starting point, and in an ideal world, we need to be looking for: inverter controlled & reversable. For us 5Kw should be stacks.
