MAQ
Hi everyone, I have seen a pub in Kent which is freehold and privately owned.the property have subsidence problems and had underpinning done in the past about 25years ago. It was given a planning permission in 2009 to convert it into 4 two bed flats and two 1 bed. The planning permission has been expired now. The landlord have got the property valued in 2017 for 345k If the planing obtained again. But building have recently got some cracks in the walls and some ground has sunk in too. Would it be worth going for this property?? Regards
Dee J
Sounds like a whole heap of trouble.... Trying to patch up a subsiding and old, previously underpinned building to convert. Unless there's some great historic or architectural value then far better to demolish and build new... with appropriate foundations and decent insulation... budget accordingly.
