So glad to see so many familiar names on here already, knowing the advice they can give.  I am embarking on a self build in Co. Down and have thankfully now taken ownership of our site. Plans should be finalised this week for change of house type application to be submitted. FPP in place already on site so going to start laneway and fencing visibility splays soon. Any free decent rubble welcome lol.

Are there any of the street work improvement schemes in your local town/village. If so ask them for it. If your closer than the tip they are using they will do it. I got around 10 loads of rubble for mine for free.
