Duckman
Hi all, has anyone any experience of inclusion rates of perlite in hyd lime/sand render? application is internal wall insulation pre bonding coat, pre wood fibre insulation. the notion is to lift/soften the dew point and raise U by a small degree as am achieving fairly low value with just the wood fibre board, however have plenty of `U` to trade on roof and floor and quoted L15.1 b. Thanks, Nick
ToughButterCup
Welcome. Hmm, what's an inclusion rate ? If I'm asking that then the direct answer to your question is - no - . But I'm interested in the answer. How about chucking a handful of perlite in the normal mix? Our residents chemist ( a certain Mr Harris) will be along soon.
