SBR bare brick?

Should I be using SBR on this bare cavity wall before I dab on my Wedi boards? The wall is in decent nick as I've repointed a lot of it.

Brush it with a stiff brush, and saturate it with 50/50 SBR/water, at least twice, then brush it with neat an hour before you start boarding.

 

SBR stays quite tacky, but PVA just skins over, so with PVA you need to roller it on neat and lay when it’s tacky; eg a PITA.

50/50 then let it go off? Then do it again, let it go off. Then neat just before I start?

Yup. Stick a bag over the shower trap to keep it clean.
