Depth of render

What is the typical depth should we allow for render on our timber frame house please.We need to know for depth of window sills. Thanks

I think it's about 5mm plus 10mm carrier board on say 40mm ertical battens to ventilate the cavity. Have a look at the K Rend website for typical build up.
