Mike Wynn Posted Thursday at 10:10 Posted Thursday at 10:10 I'm currently working on a project which involves cladding and rendering over existing Bradstone (re-constituted stone) above DPC, however I need to find a solution below DPC. If left, the existing Bradstone will stand out. I have looked into waterproof rendering below DPC but I have heard this still may start to discolour and risk thermal bridging if not applied correctly. As the ground slopes dramatically at the back of the house it would be quite a considerable area below DPC which is visable. Does anybody have any thoughts on what I could do? Russell griffiths Posted Thursday at 10:39 Posted Thursday at 10:39 Have a look at a company called EWI SOLUTIONS they do a render specifically for below dpc and have a thin coat top coat called mosaic that goes over the top. you will need a stop bead and a drip bead at dpc to prevent the two renders touching and drawing moisture up.
