Orcan F really?

I’ve used about a dozen tubes of Orcan F already. It all feels a bit dodgy to me. It seems to be water soluble, it doesn’t seem to set, it doesn’t seem to be particularly sticky. Is it really just low quality gunge? Besides apparently winning lots of prizes PriClima’s blurb says ‘The adhesive joints created must not be subjected to tensile forces.’ Does that mean that if a crack widens up (cracks often do this, duh), all bets are off? I’m using it to ‘seal’ joins in a ply skin right now.
