Am I missing something? https://home.tarkett.co.uk/en_GB/collection-C002723-inspiration-classics

Gone West Posted Friday at 11:58 Posted Friday at 11:58 @Simon R IIRC, a couple of years ago, you fitted loose lay LVT in your house. Can you help with whether or not you needed an expansion gap by the walls. If not what was the make of your LVT?

Floating on Caberdek. Good quality product but does slightly lift where sited in direct sunlight in front of 4 metre sliding door. Very slight bow between first and second tile now. It just lays flush up against door threshold, I left expansion gaps against walls and under kitchen cabinets. Gaps all hidden. I plan to lift the first row and apply either glue or double sided. No obvious movement issues anywhere else. 1

The floor is laid tight to room edges with no expansion gap just a grid of tackifier to stop it moving . We bought it from Quadrant a commercial floor company and it's functionally equivalent to Amtico Access. I still have a good quantity of the flooring in the stuff for sale on BuildHub. Thanks, that's very useful. I remember asking about the flooring for sale, but IIRC the company don't make the same colour any longer.
