People!

I've got this recessed drain cover for the sump. So the raised circlular lip sits inside top of tank. It's a complete b'stard to pull the silver 'lid' out. Absolute pain - never comes out.

So I want to replace it with a non recessed one - just an easy 'flat' handled one.

But unless I'm misunderstanding ( quite possible ) I can't find a flat lid with a circle frame lip underside ( if that makes sense ). Theres nothing around the sump opening to fit to hence the lid 'sits' on the sump tank.

But I end up taking the entire thing out and smashing the (expletive deleted) out of the metal lid to get it out. Can't seem to find something to swap it to.....

frame is around 600cm sq. diameter of circular lip is 46cm

Buy a 3D printer and make one.

Oh, hang on.

Would have made an interesting feature if it had been glazed over, may have needed some strong glazing. Walk on glazing would do it. Maybe an unwanted and unloved bit if spare.

Hmmm I think I 3d printers print volume is limited . Everything nowadays is “ 3d print one “ or “ just write some code “ or maybe “ just get a million pounds “ . If only it was that simple
