Hello! I'm just about to get the tiling finished on my new clay tile roof.

On my previous concrete tile roof moss was always a problem since I'm surrounded by trees.

Simply put is there any good solution I can do now whilst it's still mostly new to help stop moss growth?

It will grow on slates too, although it will likely be easier to remove than from a clay tile roof.

Zinc works in the same way as copper, & would be my choice.

Just takes about a hundred times longer to form. Our last house 1830 still had original roof - zero moss. House before that moss starting to form after 2 to 3 years - concrete tiles.
