Semi recessed back box ?

Thinking of using surface mounted plastic back boxes but then having them plastered in. So say a 25mm back box with half covered by plaster and half protruding from the wall.

Any issue with doing this ?

(Will be out of sight under a worktop and avoid cutting into a single skin brick wall)
