Jadhacha Posted Monday at 22:24 Posted Monday at 22:24 (edited) Hello, completely new to any kind of building work, and some of the posts here have been very helpful already! Trying to learn a thing or two as I build a garden room, and eventually an extension. Hopefully will learn as I go along, and share some of my experiences in time. Thank you! SteamyTea Posted Tuesday at 06:03 Posted Tuesday at 06:03 Welcome I have been thinking about replacing my garden shed for at least a decade, there is never any reason to rush into these things. 1

Why not just get a kit, we did one with 70mm thick timber walls and installation inside. Basically slabbed a flat area and built from there. Summer house sits on slabs and is bolts bown to them. Added insulation to floor, roof and walls 1

But have chosen the brick and mortar route!

Planning permission for the extension is already in. As much as I’d like to, can’t sit on a steamy tea that long unfortunately.
