Oxdale Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 My builder has accidentally used a porous Epoxy grout (EASYJoint Pro) for my outdoor porcelain patio. I need it to be non porous. Is there a way I can seal it to make it non porous without having to regrout? Any help or advice welcome!
nod Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 None of the sealers out there will be long lasting The grout sealers out there are really only temporary to stop the tiles marking when grouting An option would be to seal on a regular basis Bal do a good product
SteamyTea Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 (edited) You could coat it with a clear casting epoxy. The main problem is that epoxy is very good at crosslinking the polymers, which is what is wanted for strength, durability and stability, but makes it a bugger to stick other things to once cured.
