Reasonable price to tile kitchen floor

Hi Guys

I am looking for some guidance on what would be a reasonable cost for the laying of Kitchen floor tiles. As can be seen in the enclosed drawing. about 5.6 metres by 4.8 metres.

Tiles are 600 x 900 15mm.

So looking at labour and whatever is required to fit them.

 

North hertfordshire rates in case that helps. And if anyone wants to do the work please DM me. Is it acceptable to look for trades on the site, apologies if not.

Yeah i'd be happy at that kind of number. Just got quoted £3200 !  Includes all the Ditra, adhesive etc but FFS

That’s dear. We paid £7000 for 145m2 floor tiles, a utility room and two bathrooms. Including ditra and everything else.

Ours came out at £31/m2 and I used your £30-£40 as a guide as you’d posted it before. I’ve just checked back and it was 164m2 for the main floor as I forgot I added the TV Room on as we’d over ordered the floor tiles and it saved us putting a carpet in as planned.

Ask to see a couple of previous jobs 

There’s a massive difference in standards for tiling Lots of jobbers out there

I got quoted £3500 for 45m² and I have to buy the Ditra, which is £500, £89/m2! Another quote was £63/m2 but schedule don't match.

For the size of tiles i have to lay the quotes come out at about £64 per tile. That is an absolute piss take. In Sheffield , no offence, that must seem even more than down here in the Affluent home counties. I feel for you.

I'm from the South so maybe they think they can gouge me after hearing my accent 😂 Trying to get more quotes by text this time

My tiles are 1200 x 230, I guess that would increase price per m2, not sure how much. Just got a quote for £47/m2

That £47 doesn't include any materials, so just labour
