Wookie_73 Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Hi all. Running my ductwork and installing plenums currently. I have a plenum that due to lights getting in the way is currently tucked in a corner. It will eventually have a Ergovent diffuser attached, as shown in the link. https://www.ventilationland.co.uk/en_GB/p/ergovent-frameless-ventilation-valve-round-125-mm/18706/ I currently feel it is too close to the corner of the room at 200mm from the centre to each wall. But I am a bit stuck for space due to lights/ joists etc. Any views? Cheers Dave
Mike Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 That type of vent will tend to blow the air vertically downward, so being close to the wall probably won't be a major problem (unless the installation instructions say otherwise). Though unless you have a tiny room I'd imagine that there are some other options. 1

You ‘may’ notice a bit of a dust line over 6-12-18 months of operation, but if you use a Ken Dodd stick to keep those walls clean as preventative maintenance I seriously doubt this is any issue whatsoever. ’twill be fine 1
