RunningAround Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Hi folks We have a Stuart Turner Showermate eco 2 bar Twin Pump 46500 - was fitted back in 2018. All been fine until a week ago when it wouldn't turn itself off after a shower. Only way I could get it to stop was turning off power at the RCD in the airing cupboard. Since then - it won't do anything (I've changed the fuse in the RCD just in case). Is it worth getting someone to try and fix? Or, given the original cost was 145+fitting, better to bite the bullet and order a new one? thanks!

You could try to strip it down and clean the flow switch(es), see if YT has a video on how-to, but these things just don't last forever. Defo sounds like a flow switch issue, so if that turns out to be a serviceable / replaceable part and it's cheap, then you may as well go for a fix (but that's on the proviso that the pump runs quietly and doesn't sound like it is dying elsewhere too).

They told me my jet pump was not field repairable so did not stock any spares for it. Eventually found a shaft gland for it on ebay.
