electric meter while renovating houes

Hi there

 

What is the crack with the electric meter if you are renovating an empty house. Say you are in there 8-5 mon-fri and use the lights and charge up batteries and other power tools and stuff?

What’s the question? I guess a full rewire so connect up a temporary power network and lighting network I guess.

You will need to pay the standing charge plus the energy you use.  You may need a builders supply arrangement with earth stake.  May be simpler to have a new consumer unit and disconnect the old one.
