I’ve just disconnected my timer and put a plug on my circulation pump.

Plugged this into a smart pug and I tell Alexa to run the pump for 2 mins or ask it to set a schedule. Echo dot in kitchen and 3 bedrooms.

Voila, hot water when needed without excessive hw circulation.

That is a good idea! We have a few timers on things that would benefit from similar.
