The stupidly over priced parts arrived !

Strangely enough they are a few mm different to my attempted effort . So the waterless trap , rubber washer , fitting itself all just a tad smaller than the bits I tried to get - so not compatible . I assume this is deliberate to stop people like me !

Anyway - will attempt my double trap thing tomorrow.

This turned into a pita .

Trying to get both traps to run towards the wall and into a tee . Just wasn’t going to happen . Not enough space .

So took the not so dignified approach ( open to ridicule for sure ) and made the traps run towards me - easier for sure .

HepvO can be installed vertically or horizontally, or any angle in-between. When installing horizontally a minimum allowable slope of 1/8” (3.175mm) per foot (30.48cm) must be maintained to ensure good drainage. This can be achieved by using the HepvO Angled Adapter supplied in the HepvO kit.

Don’t the traps have to be vertical? (Just asking as I know nothing about them and difficult to see from that pic which way is up).

Don’t think so . Before my issues they were horizontal ( with a slight fall ) . That worked fine for 4 yrs . Also 1 set were supplied with the mvhr and the 90 goes straight to the drain outlet - so assumption is ( as supplied by vent axia ) that it’s ok .
