Hello, thought I’d introduce myself!

Hi,

 

My name is Ted and for the last 10 years, I’ve been working my way up the property ladder, taking on fixer uppers and acquiring a wide breadth of skills. By no means am I master of anything but if there’s anything I can advise on with some authority, it’s surfacing.

 

i own and run a company which manufactures sustainable surfacing and drainage products. I’m not here to promote those products, but to offer up what I’ve learned from over 10 years of working in this industry. Please let me know if there’s anything I can offer that could help!

 

On another note, I also have been developing properties in Nottinghamshire for a similar sort of time, again using my acquired skills and contacts to bolster this.

 

I’m here to learn as much as I am to help. Your experiences are worth more to me than me giving my opinions!

Surfacing as in driveways?  (Of course I’m now thinking Boomtown Rats….)

Hi @Ted Hall we have a driveway that is hardcored but which is awaiting final finishing. We are in Scotland and building control have decreed that we need an accessible path via the driveway around to our back door. It looks like your system would fit the bill? Its looks like you recommend 20mm stone for cars but 30 mm if using wheelchairs?
