Hello everyone,

 

I stumbled across this amazing resource via google.  I'm a now skint renovator of our family home.  A lot of experiences with trades people have forced me to turn my hand to bit and pieces and I'm getting drawn into to doing more and more work around the house.

 

This is not to bash trades people, they are (in the main) professionals and can understand what needs to be done and execute it much quicker than me*.  However, we don't have the money and as a plodder, we reckon we can get there later (we've already been in the house 8 years - what's another couple of months make to anything?)

Hi and welcome, yes there are some good traddies but there are even more cowboys (no woke politically correct crap from me).

everybody has to start somewhere and learn as they go on.
