Rendering cem board

Anyone rendered (s&c)over cem board with any success? What primer if any did you use and did you use expandable metal? Thanks.

Yes I’ve also rendered Plasterboard 

Same for both Fix S Steel mesh over Fixed with S screw and washer every 300
