AliCHH
Hi, I'm starting to work on the VAT reclaim for our house and Wickes have changed their VAT number during the time we've been building. I'm putting the number on the claim form as the number on the receipts (ie one VAT number until 2020s, a different one afterwards) rather than putting them all through as the VAT code they now use. Does anyone have experience of this- am I doing it right?
Bonner
Use the number shown on the receipts, HMRC will make the connection

Blooda
I just added a sticker, or wrote on the receipt a sequential number [starting at 0001] and then used that as a reference on the sheet.
