Help to identify this roof covering

Hi all, 

 

Can anyone help identify what type of roof covering this is?  I include a wider shot and close up.

 

The upstand joints and edges of the covering indicate metal rather than felt/polymer covering.  However, no idea what type of metal, never seen this before, the patterning is very odd to me.  My suspicion is either zinc or aluminium, but not sure.

 

Anyone installed it before?

Looks like a welded vinyl to me. 
can you get on it ?

No haven't been able to, only viewable from the top of a lift shaft window.  Very odd looking material
